Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. After achieving fame through his role on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor has appeared in more than 20 feature films including The Core. In addition, he has appeared in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs as well as The Lost Law & Order, and many other. Qualls has been fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. Two years later, his cancer is in Remission. But, earlier treatment had a severe impact on his health and stunted growth. Once he started acting financially secure, it was his ultimate goal as his experience with poverty had been a part of his childhood. When I've lived in such a shabby way for a long time I need this financial assurance. In the absence of it, everything seems beyond my reach. The man also recalls his childhood to motivate him. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. He claims that his dream job would be that of dads in the real world and on film. He admits that Directors aren't able to put his character in these role. Someday he would love to become a father when he would be able to devote less time to his career and more time to his son.
